1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental 54MS in Bordeaux Paint on My Car Story with Lou Costabile

On "My Car Story" we're in Geneva IL at The Geneva Concours d’Elegance on 8-23-15.

We're looking at a 1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental 54MS in Bordeaux paint.

The car's Owner is Dr. Andrew Bellis. Andrew’s had the car handed down from his Father David and Mother Brenda. They have had the car since 1988, and the car was found in bad condition, however David being an Engineer designed the car, and the car was built by Steve Penny.

The original car was a Barker Sadanca-de-Vile, and a Paris show car. The Phantom 2 was manufactured from 1929 to 1935; and the Continental is the most desirable in the series.

The engine is a 7.7 liter straight 6 with 2 spark plugs per cylinder, one plug coil, and the other a magneto. Chassis number is 54MS, with engine number ZL85.

This car has won many trophies including; best in show in Chicago, best in class twice, most elegant twice, and the Colleen Creech Trophy twice at the Rolls Royce Enthusiast Club " RREC" Concourse in England.
