St Albans a city in the heart of England. Filmed in May 2021. We strolled through the streets past the Abbey, to the Ye Olde Fighting Cocks a public house. It is thought that there are tunnels running between the cathedral and the pub's beer cellars which were once used by monks. The mill once stood along side the pub and we take a look at where the mill wheel once stood. Time was restricted so we didn’t walk into the park, but there is a shot of the remains of the Roman wall. We returned to the High Street where the market was being dismantled. Saint Albans looked to be returning to its usual vibrant self as we enter the closing days of the pandemic.

Stephen Hawking's education all began. St Albans School is the oldest public school in the UK, and one of the oldest in the world.
