With four 2-socket server nodes in a 2U rack chassis, the Dell PowerEdge C6100 is a hyper-scale-inspired building block for high-performance cluster computing, Web 2.0 environments and cloud builders. The C6100 offers extreme rack density (twice the density of most 1U servers) and shared infrastructure (like blade servers), both of which help to reduce the floor space, power, & cooling requirements of these servers.
