WATER TRANSPORT ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL IMPACT N THE US AND THE WORLD
Just in the Mississippi River Alone: Consider that more than 60 percent of all grain exported from the United States is shipped via the Mississippi River Ship Channel. Indeed, the Mississippi River Basin produces 92 percent of the nation’s agricultural exports and 78 percent of the world’s exports of feed grains and soybeans. Every year, over $21 billion in agriculture exports are shipped through Louisiana’s port system, and shipments are up 34 percent so far in 2017.

THE CHALLENGE
The most common form of cargo transportation on the system is by tugboats pushing along large barges. The "speed" of these tugboats and the drought issues remain to be a problem.

THE SOLUTION:
Comparing the 140 miles an hour top speed ( 110 - 120 miles an hour cruising speed ) of and 930 miles full tank distance of the Wing In Ground Flying Ships (WIGs) to the 16 miles per hour (14 knot) speed of the tugboat, the problem is solved. Since the WIG operates above the water, drought conditions would never be a problem.
WING IN GROUND FLYING SHIP (WIG)

WIG Flying Ships is designed to attain sustained flight over a level of surface (usually over the sea) by making a ground effect.

Ground effect is the aerodynamic interaction between the wings and surface.

WIG Flying Ships are NOT the same a SEA PLANES, HOVERCRAFTS and HYDROFOILS.

A WIG is classified as a boat and not as a plane.

RUSSIAN WIGs

For centuries, the Russians have only built WIGs for their own country. Not anymore! They are ready to build WIGs outside Russia. My partners Viacheslav Kolgavov and Yury Sharov are now ready to build the FIRST WIG IN AMERICA.
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

* Kolganov and Zharov have built 12 and 40 Seater WIGs in Russia. No one in the has done this yet. They are now ready to build the First 1000 Seater WIG when funded.

Other WIGs are only 5-10 seaters and they don't have the capabilities an uniqueness of our WIGs.

* Kolvanov and Zharov have developed the First Electric WIG in the world.

* Our WIGs can take off and land on water, ground, snow or ice. Waves less than 1.2 meters and side winds less than 15 m/s, take off and landing won't be a problem at all. Once the WIG has taken off and is at cruising speed of 110-120 miles an hour, no problem at all. No other technology has this capability.

*Our WIGs can fly from 0-28 meters. They can fly above the waves less than 28m.Tsunami waves are 30 meters high so this can be an imaginative description. For our customized MILITARY WIGs, they can go as high as 150 meters. No other technology has this capability.
