Toyota Glanza V variant full detail & In-depth review | Hindi | CarQuest

Toyota Glanza is the first product to be introduced under the Toyota-Suzuki joint venture agreement.Essentially a rebadged version of MARUTI BALENO, the Glanza is available in two variants and three engine-gearbox options for buyers to choose from.

The Glanza is being offered in two variants - G and V, which are based on the Baleno’s Zeta and Alpha trims respectively. the DualJet Smart Hybrid engine is only available with the lower ‘G’ manual variant, and not with the V, which only gets the K12B engine. Therefore, the Toyota Glanza can be had in four configurations - G MT Smart Hybrid (Rs 7.22 lakh), G CVT (Rs 8.30 lakh), V MT (Rs 7.58 lakh) and V CVT (Rs 8.90 lakh)

Engine
2019 Toyota Glanza is available in two BS-VI compliant petrol engine options. Toyota glanza G variant gets the 1.2-litre K12N engine with a mild-hybrid motor, which generates 89bhp and 113Nm. The Toyota Glanza V model is powered by the regular 1.2-litre K12M engine that produces 82bhp and 113Nm. The vehicle is available in five-speed manual and CVT options.

Exterior
Toyota Glanza shares the body-shell with the Baleno and hence has retained most of the design details except for a revised grille and Toyota badging on the front and rear. The Glanza gets LED headlamps and LED taillights. The vehicle rides on 16-inch alloy wheels.

Interior
the Toyota Glanza gets a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The vehicle gets manual driver height adjustment, automatic AC, 60:40 split rear seat and keyless entry. Additionally, the vehicle also gets rear parking camera along with a follow-me-home headlamp feature.

As for the rivals, the Toyota Glanza competes with other premium hatchbacks in the country such as the Honda jazz, the Hyundai i20 and the upcoming Tata altroz

The price of Toyota glanza starts from 7.22 lakhs for glanza G variant with manual transmission and 8.30 lakhs for glanza G variant with CVT.

If we go for Toyota glanza v variant with cvt it will cost around 8.90 lakhs ex-showroom(Delhi) and for the variant which we reviewed in the video ( Toyota glanza with manual transmission) will cost you 7.58 lakhs ex-showroom (Delhi)
