Dr Randall Smith - Paul's Response To The Roman World - A Preview

This visual presentation offers the viewer a window into the ancient world of the Roman Empire while traveling through Italy with Dr. Randall Smith. Following in the footsteps of Paul, we visit the area from the Bay of Naples to the heart of the Empire in the “Eternal City” of Rome. Offering visuals of the best restored Roman archaeological sites in the world, Dr. Smith introduces the viewer to the lives and common culture of the first recipients of Paul’s letters, as we learn about Paul’s careful response to the pagan world with the life giving truth of the risen Christ. It is the story of the confrontation between a pagan world and the truth of the gospel as it was first presented.
As the first in our series filmed on location in Italy, this “highlights” presentation offers the essential overview of the series by giving the viewer a bird’s eye view of the study programs on site, as well as offering a foretaste of the whole series as we follow the life, travels and Epistles of the Apostle in greater detail.
