sweet pongal recipe
moong dal 1/4 cup
basmati or raw rice 3/4th cup
1 1/2cup of jaggery (melt jaggery with one cup water and keep aside)
few cardamom
ghee
cashew

dry roast moong dal wash both rice and dal (lentil) add 4cups water and one cup milk and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles

once pressure cooked well
add jaggery syrup
whisk well adding ghee every two minutes
boil the pongal for 5 more min garnish with fried cashewnuts...
