CVA is the Infarction of the Brain tissues due to less blood supply.

It is of two types - Ischemic Stroke ( Due to interruption of blood supply) or Haemorrhagic stroke (Due to rupture of blood vessels).

Symptoms depends on what part of brain affected.

Treatment - Thrombolytics drugs ( Recombinant Plasminogen Activator )
Anticoagulant drugs ( Heparin , Warfarin )
Anti platelets ( Aspirin)

Surgery should be done to repair rupture artery and to remove clots.
