Spiral Cell Pour with Hard Edges to not waste paint

I tried taping the edges and tilting toward the corners to get big spiral cells. I think the tape adhesive destroyed the cells on the sides. Should I have tilted it more or less? Let me know in the comments!

If somebody says "Wasted Paint" to this video I will lose my mind.
