The Coldest Desert on Earth Isn’t What You Think#antarctica#coldestdesert#earthfacts

When you think of deserts, you probably imagine burning sand and scorching heat.
But the coldest desert on Earth is actually Antarctica.
Even though it looks like a frozen continent, Antarctica is technically a desert because it receives extremely little precipitation each year—less than some parts of the Sahara Desert.
Vast ice sheets, frozen plateaus, and dry polar air make Antarctica the largest and coldest desert on the planet.
So while most deserts are hot and sandy, the most extreme desert is a frozen world at the bottom of the Earth.
And it raises a surprising question…
What other places on Earth are completely different from what we expect? ❄️🌍
