Jurgen Klopp addresses Virgil van Dijk’s knee injury and whether Liverpool will look to the transfer market for a replacement at his press conference to preview Wednesday's match in Amsterdam.

Liverpool take on Ajax in their Group B Champions League opener but much of the focus was away from the game as Klopp was also asked about Everton’s approach in the Merseyside derby after van Dijk and Thiago Alcantara picked up injuries at the hands of Jordan Pickford and Richarlison.

The German also confirmed Fabinho is likely to play in defence, with Joel Matip missing, in an explosive press conference.
