Meet the Perceptors

In the novel’s very first chapter, we’re introduced to Perceptors. These fictional characters feed off people’s pain and suffering by wrapping their prickly tentacles around their subject and adding a protective layer over their entire body, altering how they view, receive and interact with the world.
