Thermals here in the Lake Taupo region are steaming around every other bend.
Here is an easy walk through what is dubbed The Craters of the Moon, with bubbling mud and steam floating out of the ground skywards. On a boarded walkway, the walk takes about an hour and it's wheelchair accessible
