Flying Car Completes Maiden Flight in Slovakia

The KleinVision AirCar took its maiden flight on October 22 at Slovakia’s Piestany Airport, the airport reported.

The fifth-generation flying car was designed by the University of Münster’s Professor Stefan Klein. It can transform from “road vehicle into air vehicle in less than three minutes… with the click of a button,” KleinVision said in a press release.

“With AirCar you will arrive at your destination without the hassle of getting a ride to airport and passing through commercial security, you can drive your AirCar to the golf course, the office, the mall or your hotel and park it in a normal parking space,” said Anton Zajac, KleinVision’s co-founder.
