1.3 Dimensional Analysis (Intro to Physics)

Dimensional Analysis is an important tool to help physicists understand the relationships between measurements and numbers. It can quickly tell us if we are on the right track or if we've made a mistake somewhere in our reasoning.

This also touches on the concept of proportionality. Oftentimes, we don't care what the exact equation is but we do care how the quantities relate to each other.
