Andres 'Tanguito' Cejas at Corrientes Classes and Practica on Wednesday at the Dome, Tufnell Park! All the way from the glorious ‘De Querusa’ in Boedo. 'Tanguito' epitomises the style of Traditional Salon Tango, and is the most generous of teachers sharing his extensive knowledge of the dance and Tango culture. Maestro Cejas, Together with Mina and Giraldo are preparing an intense evening of learning, creativity and fun for all lovers of this Tango born and bred in the barrios of Buenos Aires.

He has had a long and illustrious career in Argentine tango, touring extensively with his wife Genoveva Fernandez performing with orchestras such as Mariano Mores, and Sexteto Mayor. He has taught in schools internationally and is well regarded in Buenos Aires having been awarded the prestigious “Maria Ruanova” diploma honoris causa as master of Tango for his contribution to teaching Tango at National and International levels by the "Argentine Council of Dance".

He studied with some of the greats of tango including Gerald Portalea, Pupi Castello, Antonio Todaro, Tete, Pepito Avellaneda and his mentor - the legendary Osvaldo Zotto. Now based in Boedo, Buenos Aires, he co runs the popular Thursday Practica De Querusa and he regularly sits on the Jury of the Grand Final of 'El mundial de Tango' BA.
