In this tutorial I will show you a quick and easy technique for creating a beer look on your tumbler using alcohol inks!

STEP 1: Start with a sanded and cleaned tumbler spray painted white with matte spray paint. The tumbler shown in this video is a 20oz Lager tumbler from https://www.CraftHaven.com **Use code FLYNNSISTERS for 10% off your order!

STEP 2: tape off the top of the cup about 1” down from the rim. Using the sponges apply your alcohol inks to create a “foamy beer” look.Layer both the Honeycomb and Butterscotch ink. Just keep pouncing color with the sponge until you get a desired look. Make sure you don’t apply ink up against the tape, just right up below it. The tape will just serve as a guide and protect the white section of the cup.

STEP 3: remove the tape and allow the inks to dry completely (about 10-15 mins) and spray the whole cup with a clear gloss spray paint. I prefer this one: https://amzn.to/3dOzmnX

STEP 4: after the spray sealer has dried, apply one thin coat of epoxy and allow that to dry for at least 8 hours before sanding as needed and applying the decal or waterslide.
