OneSight and Oakley Athletes Partner in Brazil for Visual Health Campaign

Our OneSight Brazil Team carried out an advocacy and awareness campaign in partnership with Oakley to promote eye health in underserved areas. The partnership benefited two social projects in Rocinha Brazil: the Surf School and SBR (Skate, Bike, Roller).
Children and young adults underwent initial vision tests, comprehensive ophthalmological care and, if needed, free prescription glasses were provided. In addition, five people were referred for eye specialist consultations.

During the campaign, we had the support of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology, in addition to the special appearances of athlete Pedro Scooby @Pedroscooby and Henrique Avancini @Avancinimtb, surfing and cycling champions, respectively.
We would like to thank Oakley, CBO and everyone who participated and contributed to this initiative.

Now, our young athletes can dive into extreme sports with more safety and self-esteem, overcoming each wave, maneuver and pedal stroke through better visual health.
