New Orleans BBQ Challenge w/ Ribs, Chicken, Burnt Ends, & Cheddar Biscuits!!

A&Z #798 - Atlas vs The Ugly Dog Saloon's "Ugliest Platter" New Orleans BBQ Challenge w/ ribs, chicken, burnt ends, and cheddar biscuits at The Ugly Dog Saloon & BBQ in New Orleans, Louisiana. Back at the end of October 2019, I flew from Pennsylvania down to New Orleans, Louisiana so my Further U team and I could host a booth at the Big Easy Comic Con at the start of November, and also do 4 food challenges during the evenings. For event #2, we went to The Ugly Dog Saloon & BBQ in New Orleans, Louisiana, so I could take on their brand new "Ugliest Platter" New Orleans BBQ Challenge. This platter is a regular menu item meant to serve families of 3-5 people. I had just 1 hour to finish everything by myself, and the meal included a whole smoked chicken, 1/2 a rack of pork ribs, .5-1 pound portions of BBQ pulled pork and BBQ burnt ends, 6 tasty cheddar biscuits, and 3 sides of my choice. I got collard greens, mac & cheese, and meatless chili topped with shredded cheese, sour cream, and onions. I was trying to win my meal free plus a sweet t-shirt, and become the first winner!! HUGE thanks to everyone with The Ugly Dog Saloon & BBQ for the wonderful food and hospitality!! BIG thanks to everyone who came up to watch and meet us that night!! Ugly Dog Saloon's "Ugliest Platter" New Orleans BBQ Challenge (~$49):

– This challenge features a massive spread of New Orleans BBQ foods and delicious sides.
– There is an entire smoked chicken served with a 1/2 rack of BBQ pork ribs.
– There are .5-1 pound portions of BBQ pulled pork and BBQ burnt ends plus 6 tasty cheddar biscuits.
– Challengers must pick 3 different sides. I chose collard greens, mac & cheese, and meatless chili.
– There is a 1 hour time limit to finish everything on your platter.
– Winners receive the meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and spot on The Ugly Dog Saloon's Wall of Fame.
– Please call ahead to schedule your challenge so they can be ready.
