Part 1 focuses on the species itself - the cultural distinctions, medicinal properties, and scientific advanced for using Senna to cure various diseases.

Senna is another one of these amazing wild edible and medicinal plants growing in our backyards that have been demonized by governments all over the world. Here in the US there is a war on nutritious and healing 'weeds' that, if given the chance, could feed and heal hundreds of thousands of hungry people.

Do you think people in Venezuela could use a very nutritious foodstuff high in protein that is freely growing in their backyards - a healthy meat substitute?

Instead, we spray toxic chemicals in the environment and insist on growing plant species that require large amounts of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and water. There is a reason for this insanity, but most people have been brainwashed to the extent that they cannot accept the reality of the situation. The fact is that we are living in a death culture and that we participate like actors in a play.

We must break free and emancipate ourselves. Knowledge is power.

The second part of this series will focus on the nutritive aspects of Senna, and how Africans have been preparing Senna for hundreds of years. I will show all the steps for preparing Kawal.
