My (personal) Breast Implant Illness Experience (BII) | Symptoms, Timeline, Pictures & Explanting
Hello my beautiful humans!! 💕 This video is quite… exposing… for many reasons but I do believe it’s important to share my experience. If I would’ve seen more of this side, I might have thought twice on getting my implants in the first place or just gone with a different approach/method.. I do hope that it helps someone or at least sparks up some questions!
The thing with BII is that it’s not something you can just test positive for.. Sure you can find out if you have some toxicity in your blood, but that’s typically only with a ruptured implant.. A lot of BII is just being very in tune with your 'normal,' your personal symptoms & head space.. It’s scary to go through another surgery for a ‘what if.’
I explanted my (very large) implants after only 2 years, April of 2019. This video was shot fairly immediate post surgery so a lot of my symptoms hadn’t cleared up yet.
Sitting here finally posting this video August of 2021 & I can confidently say it was BEYOND the right decision for me.. Maybe I’ll do a follow up video on everything that cleared up but I can easily say now, I had BII & I’m blessed to have trusted my intuition.
Just to name a few.....
Joint pain - gone
Constant brain fog - gone
Anxiety - gone
Circulation problems - gone
Inflammation - gone (I dropped 12 lbs in 2 weeks post explant)
Back & neck pain - gone
Random body odor - gone
Random skin rashes - gone
Random food intolerances - gone
Eye issues - cleared up 😳
Hair skin & nail health - drastically improved
Recovery from training - night & day difference
Energy - back up to normal
Sharp pains in chest - gone
Heart palpitations - gone
Temperature regulation issues - gone
I could honestly keep going..
Although BII isn’t one of those things recognized by all medical professionals, these things aren’t a coincidence…
I do want to mention -- Everyones experience is valid, their own & some people have ZERO complications or issues with their implants.
We cannot deny that putting a foreign object in our body could yield some sort of response - good or bad. The capsule formed around implants (by your body) is it’s defense mechanism from that foreign object. If your body deems it as a threat but can’t fight it off or push it out naturally, then it shows up in various ways, compromising your immune system.. For me, this was all of the symptoms talked about in this video.
Of course, talk to your surgeon.. I’m not telling you to get them or to not.. This is just my personal experience with breast implants. Don’t just take my word for it.. but also don’t take theirs (your surgeons) as a blanket statement.. BII is a thing.. & it’s negatively affected thousands of women throughout the years. Know both sides. Ask questions.. Ask yourself — is it worth it for you?
I’m always here if any of you have questions on my personal experience! I’d be happy to direct you to the FB Groups I found comfort in or my trusted explant surgeon for more information.
