Boney M.: Oceans Of Fantasy (Expanded Album, Long Version, Vol. 3) [1979]

Boney M.'s fourth album Oceans Of Fantasy was released September 1979 and reached #1 in both the German and UK charts and yielded their final #1 single El Lute/Gotta Go Home in Germany (#12 in the UK). Several versions were released of the album. The first pressing containing Let It All Be Music & Gotta Go Home as a medley (they were separate tracks on all subsequent pressings), and side 2 opening with El Lute, No More Chain Gang, and Oceans Of Fantasy (these were swapped on later pressings), besides containing several alternate mixes. The final pressings had many tracks edited to improve the sound quality of the pressing as the album.

I have reconstructed the album as a 2LP set with the Long Versions + a full disc with plenty of bonus tracks. AS WITH ALL MY OTHER YOUTUBE UPLOADS, THESE ARE ALL DONE TO MY OWN PERSONAL PREFERENCES. For example I have not included the 12" version of Bahama Mama since it is just a boring copy-paste job with no new parts. I have also excluded Hold On I'm Coming since that's essentially a Precious Wilson solo track. On the other hand I've included Holi-Holiday and Dancing In The Streets, just as the rare Turkish 2LP pressing did.

The bonus disc includes 6 Years Of Boney M. Hits. Although this was released late 1981 it fits better here than on Boonoonoonoos since it only covers the hits from 1976 to 1979. There are also 4 demo versions of Train To Skaville, Boat On The River, Children Of Paradise, and My Friend Jack from a rare acetate cut in June 1980.
