Japan Earthquake Update; Major M7.4 Quake Strikes, Generates Minor Tsunami

Earlier today, a major magnitude 7.4 struck offshore of Japan, generating a minor tsunami. This earthquake despite its magnitude was unusually brief, and this threw off initial damage models. Today's video discusses this seismic event, along with its geologic setting and what might happen next.

Warning: NEVER go as close to a coastline as shown in today's video if a tsunami is expected to soon strike! Doing so could be lethal!
