Black Swan

A silhouette inspired by the bustle dresses of the late 19th century, with embroidery that finds its roots in the op-art and arabesque ornaments.
The idea was to blend Western and Middle Eastern cultural history into one design.
The silk satin duchess is sculpted on a corset and the embroidery done with black and grey Swarovski crystals and beads is stitched on black silk organza and backed with skin colored lining for a nude effect.
