Public Meltdown ~ A Bad Day

This is what a public meltdown can look like. Autistic meltdowns can happen for a variety of reasons. We aren't sure what caused it but we have our theories. This is a frustrating part of nonverbal autism. Imagine a packed restaurant and this happens. We gave up and went home because we couldn't get her to calm down. There's no point in messing up everyone else's meal and stressing ourselves out the whole time. It was just a bad day. Tomorrow is a new day. Just keep smiling.
