The song "Wind Beneath My Wings" was originally written in 1982 by Jeff Silbar and Larry Henley. Singer Roger Whittaker recorded the first official release of the song, followed by Sheena Easton, Lee Greenwood, Colleen Hewett, Lou Rawls, Gladys Knight & the Pips & Gary Morris. However the highest charted version was recorded by Bette Midler.
