People across Myanmar have continued to protest the military coup, despite increasingly violent reactions by police and soldiers. At least 50 people have died since the military seized control over one month ago. The latest crackdown has seen media outlets banned, and protesters trapped in buildings in Yangon. Protesting has become increasingly dangerous, as police and soliders have used tear gas, rubber bullets and live rounds on crowds. Protesters say they will continue to gather across the country.
