Ways of Knowing: Opening Day Talk

In celebration of the opening of the exhibition Ways of Knowing, artists Cabello/Carceller, Christine Howard Sandoval, and Gala Porras-Kim, this discussion explores how contemporary artists use research to gather, examine, and share knowledge.
Working across drawing, mixed-media painting, and video installation, these three artists each consider colonial histories and present new perspectives on contested narratives.

Panel moderated by exhibition curator Rosario Güiraldes and is part of the Walker Art Center Ways of Knowing exhibition on from March 8–September 7, 2025.
