Blue collar workers in Minnesota gravitate towards President Trump
The Republican Party is zeroing in on Minnesota ahead of the 2020 election in the United States as blue collar Democrat voters gravitate towards President Donald Trump.
Blue collar workers used to be strong Democrat voters but many working in mining have become pro-Trump due to his economic policies which supported manufacturing in the region and across the country.
A Minnesotan local said, “as a person I find him a little bit offensive but his politics, his governing, his leadership, I’m on board”.
