How Joby Aviation Will Build An eVTOL Empire!

Joby Aviation announced their brand-new partnership with REEF Technology and NPG, and together with Joby Aviation's tech and their new partners' extensive reach across America, we're looking at an electric vertical Take-Off & Landing or eVTOL empire!

They are already backed by Toyota, and they recently acquired Uber's flying taxi division. They also previously merged with Reinvent Technology Partners. From that deal, Joby Aviation got a sweet $1.6 billion in cash!

Joby Aviation is the brainchild of serial entrepreneur JoeBen Bevirt, who started the company in 2009 and operated it pretty much under the radar for a while. In fact, their secrecy has invited some skepticism of their claims. The first journalist to ever get access to see the aircraft in 2018 was required not to reveal any details. All we knew of the test site was that it was somewhere between Santa Barbara and Monterey.
