Horse Powered Healing | Jen Zoë Hall | TEDxOcala
What could you discover about yourself from a horse? What message could a 1200 pound animal that doesn’t talk give you?
After living the life we are told by the conventional wisdom that we should, do we end up fulfilled and truly happy? Does going to the right schools and getting that good job gives us everything we ever dreamed of?
Jen Zoë tells her story about ’shoulding’ her way through life only to wake up one day and realize it was all a house of cards. The turn towards triumph came through the gifts of her horse. A horse who helped give her the courage to brave connection and discover the truth that was within her. She shares with us how the healing power of horses are being uncovered in unique and profound ways and even sometimes help us find our purpose, passions, and mission. From a small town in Southeast Missouri, Jen Zoë had always been fascinated with horses. Her career with horses, however, did not begin until the age of 30 when she started taking horseback
riding lessons. She realized she wanted more and quickly developed her career with horses by studying with some of the best horsemen in the world. While attending a personal development event, she realized that the parallels and patterns between horses and humans were quite profound and needed to be brought together. Jen started to understand the deeper way that horses teach humans. After years of research and training, Jen launched Zenerjen and her Equine Assisted Empowerment programs to help transform lives through the spirit of the horse. Jen now lives in Orlando, Florida at her horse sanctuary and retreat center where she works with people from all walks of life and all parts of the world, creating breakthroughs with her seminars, training, and retreats. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
