Learn my Do's and Don'ts to applying makeup on your clients with pitted acne scars. It is very important as a makeup artists to be prepared and feel confident to do makeup on clients with all types of skin conditions. You are not always going to have that client with "perfect skin". I have had people do my makeup who completely do not know how to apply makeup on my skin, and it was a disaster doing trials for my own my own wedding. I ended up doing the foundation myself because everyone made me look worse. You can set yourself apart from other makeup artists if you know what to do when these situations come up. Like I said in my video, you can't hide them completely but you can make them not so noticeable and you can make your client feel at ease that you know what you are doing with their particular skin. The lighting in this video makes it a little hard to see my scarring, but I have it pretty bad on my cheeks.
