Bulgarian Air Charter is among the last operators of the MD-80 series in Europe, while at the same time they also acquire Airbus A320 aircraft and replace some of their MD-80. With various MD-80s left in their fleet, the airline operates only on full charter and subchapter basis. This means that flights can only be booked via tour operators.

The MD-80 featured in this video is - like many others - an airframe originally delivered to Alitalia. The interior still sports some former Alitalia equipment.
