Fortnite - How To FIX - Failed to link account - Already associated with a different account

I had real issues getting my Fortnite / Epic cross play to work when I got a new Xbox. I wanted to be able to play on either console. If you encounter the ' Already associated with a different account error ' follow this guide on how to find the duplicate account and allow your account to link to the correct epic account.
