Setup your own software APT repository with apt-mirror!
Here I show you how to setup your own APT software repository on your home network. Why would you want this? No more downloading from the internet! Everything will be stored on your home network, for quick access, and without re-downloading packages from the internet every time.
Contents of the anonymous.conf file is (read note below!) :
(Anonymous ~ftp)
User ftp
Group nogroup
UserAlias anonymous ftp
RequireValidShell off
(Directory *)
(Limit WRITE)
DenyAll
(/Limit)
(/Directory)
(/Anonymous)
CHANGE ALL ( )BRACKETS TO ANGLED BRACKETS LIKE IN THE VIDEO! YouTube does not allow angled brackets in the descriptions.
