The Christine Spero Group will bring their own kind of power to Laura Nyro's music. Christine Spero has loved Laura's music from a young age when she was given "Eli and the Thirteenth Confession" by a radio DJ friend. She was inspired by Laura's music to be bold in writing, singing and playing piano and was the Winner of the USA Songwriting Competition in the Jazz Category. Her cds are listened to around the world. Joining Christine will be Elliot Spero on horns and percussion, Scott Petito on bass and Peter O'Brien on drums. The group will also be performing some of Christine's compositions
