Boss BD-2 Blues Driver C-100 Keeley Mod

The Pre-Mod pedal in this video is an already modified Boss BD-2. It has the Keeley Silver Mica Caps, Asymmetrical Diode clipping, and a larger input cap (100 nF) for more bass.

The 'Mod' in this video is replacing six 10uF electrolytic capacitors with 10uF Tantalums and changing the C100 cap from 33 nF to 18nF. The C100 mod is supposed to add lower mid-range and this is exactly what it did. The Tantalums are supposed to 'sound better'. I am not sure how much they affected the ultimate result. I opted not to have the switchable capacitors in C100 for even more bass - the 'phat' switch - as I mostly use humbucker equipped guitars. Don't need the additional bass boost.

Guitar: Gibson SG Standard with Gibson'57 Classic Humbuckers
Amp: Marshall ST20H - Line Out from loadbox into UA OX Pedal into DAW (Logic Pro)
Post Processing: Slapback delay plugin. No EQ adjustments.
