How To Merge Two IPSW Files Together ᴴᴰ

Sup guys, making this quick tutorial to show you how to merge two ipsw files together.

Guys i forgot to mention this in the video but remember to encrypt the dmg file before putting it back into the archive, or you will get errors when restoring... Now to encrypt you need to use disk utility which is only on mac, if you don't have mac i recommend running mac os x on vmware, ill make a tutorial in the future on how to get mac for vmware and also how to sign (encrypt) the dmg file!

Also when archiving the dmg (putting it back into the ipsw) make sure to change compression method from normal to good.

The reason we merge is because if we want to flash an old version of ios on iphone (for our bypassing / jbreaking needs) we will get some error like this "Apple TSS Server returned an exception", this is because apple is no longer signing an old version of ios and only signing the latest ones, now why can't we just modify (for bypassing icloud) the latest version of ios and flash that? well we don't always have the key for decrypting the latest ios, so we have to decrypt an older one which has the key then merge it with the latest ios so we can trick apple into thinking its the latest and signing it.
