I saw The LEGO Movie 2 twice and instead of giving the usual spoilers, I specifically wanted to talk about Rex Dangervest (voiced by Chris Pratt) and how his character made me think a lot about my personal life, particularly being told in the past that I need to "grow up" and be more "mature" when it comes to giving up on the cartoons, movies, TV, toys and video games of your childhood. Is being mature and liking those things one and the same? Here's my opinion.
