काले किस्से के इस एपिसोड में आप सबका स्वागत है। यूँ तो बिहार में जंगलराज या यूँ कहे की गुंडाराज की शुरुआत 1990 में हुई थी लेकिन उससे पहले की स्थिति भी कोई ख़ास ठीक नहीं थी, गुंडों का हर तरफ बोलबाला था, उन्हें नेताओं और राजनितिक पार्टियों का संरक्षण प्राप्त था और इसीलिए क्राइम का स्तर काफी उंचा था, खासकर भागलपुर की हालत बहुत खराब थी जहां, चोरी, डकैती ही नहीं बल्कि रेप, किडनैपिंग और ह्त्या भी आम बात थी और क्योंकि पुलिस पे भी बहुत दबाव था 1979 के अक्टूबर में उनलोगों ने ऑपरेशन गंगाजल, जिसके तहत अपराधियों की आँखें फोड़कर उसमे तेज़ाब डाल कर उन्हें अँधा कर देने का प्लान था, वो लांच किया और फिर देखते ही देखते इसके शिकार 33 लोग हो गए. तो आखिर क्या है इस ऑपरेशन गंगाजल की कहानी, जिसे भागलपुर अंखफोड़वा काण्ड के नाम से भी जाना जाता है? आइये जानते है।
