WILL CRAYONS WORK AS SCOOTER WAX?

Today's debate.....Will crayons work as scooter wax? Crayola crayons are made of wax, so in theory they should work just fine...but I've never personally tried it. So, I went to the nearest Target and went shopping for some childhood arts and crafts supplies. I ended up buying both the name brand crayon as well as the off brand box of crayons. Once I got the colorful box, I went straight to the skatepark to start off with the small experiment. Before getting into the little project, I made sure to get some scootering done with my helmet camera. I did a few tricks like triple tailwhip, a couple barspin tricks, 270, 360...but no backflip today. Sadly, I figured out that it's still too soon to do any flips (with either my scooter or my body)...and I learned the hard way. But, I still had a good time doing the few tricks that I did. Once I was warmed up and ready to try out the Crayon wax, I broke the box open and chose a color. We started with blue and to my amazement...it worked INCREDIBLY! You guys will see just how well the crayons worked as wax. I did the math and if you use the generic brand of crayons (which cost just 25 cents) you can wax the coping of a ramp, any ledge, rail, etc. for UNDER A PENNY. Yes you read that right....LESS THAN A PENNY. That means you could probably do an entire skatepark the size of Cal Oaks skate park for a quarter. Pretty cool.
