Giant Squids, Mysterious Divers and A strange Disk - Oceanwork Explored

There are two endings in this game. You arrive here by a rocket and you can only leave when you paid your debt by collecting and selling the resources you gathered from deep below. but there are some mysteries and secrets lies below too. Who are the fallen divers and do they failed to pay their debt and ended up dying there alongside their rockets ? There are total of 3 rockets and 3 bodies so far. One of them told you not to trust them, but who ? and the Giant Squids below with a strange altar / pillar that you can activate it and the game ends. What happens when you activate the altar ? And lastly, a TV displaying a strange face and a disk player just beside the TV. What is that for ?
