It's important for people to start the conversation around what do we want these substances to bring beyond just to be mental health treatments. Because even that, you know, they're not magic pills. It's the therapy, and the holding, and the container around people that really seems to be making them get better or have better outcomes with depression, for example. So, it's a really complex thing.

And also, there's another question of access. Is it going to be only people with enough money? It's quite expensive. There's quite a lot of therapist time involved. There's a lot of different factors. Is it only going to be accessible to people who can already now, say, afford weekly psychotherapy which is sort of the middle class and upper middle class? That would also be a great tragedy, you know?

But, there's also good things happening as well. For example, Oregon, the model that they've developed there, I think, is really, really exciting where instead of it being--where it's legalized and the Oregon state kind of health body will be in charge of that, and therapists in private practice can be administering. So, that is a much more democratized version of it.

So, all of these different models are kind of happening at the same time. It's just that we're seeing a kind of turf war as to who gets to be--who's got the epistemic authority to decide what psychedelics are for and who they're for. So, it's an interesting time, certainly.
