PEAK DESIGN Travel Tripod- Carbon Fiber vs. Aluminum (This could save you $250)

In this video, I take a look at the Peak Design Travel Tripods, both the carbon fiber and the aluminum model and I look at some of the differences to try and help you decided which one might be right for you.

Peak design claims that the carbon fiber Travel Tripod is 20% more stable which I found through some wildly scientific (aka, not at all scientific) testing to be a fairly conservative estimate where the carbon fiber travel tripod outperformed the aluminum model in reducing vibrations about 60% quicker and in some cases, the carbon fiber model showed no visible signs of vibration where the aluminum model did.

Peak Design did a really awesome job with these and completely re-imagined the tripod from something that has always felt like a necessary evil to use and made it something that's genuinely enjoyable. Both travel tripods are phenomenal for what they are and have different use cases where they both shine.
