My 2020 JMT Hike - Tuolumne Meadows to Red’s Meadow

My August 2020 John Muir Trail section hike from Tuolumne Meadows to Red’s Meadow Resort. The actual 4-day hike took place on August 15th – 18th, 2020. Prior to the JMT, I acclimated at Gray's Meadow CG for several days and hiked at elevation in Onion Valley. One day I hope to hike the entire JMT. It was such an amazing experience and made such a huge positive impact on me. I also learned some things about myself that I need to work on in order to successfully manage/handle a long thru-hike; which I am planning and preparing for. I am truly grateful to Potholes, my hiking partner, for giving me this opportunity. She continued on after Red's to complete the JMT for the second time!! Rockstar!!
