Project 786 showcases the transformation of a Fender Telecaster Custom through a complete 100% nitrocellulose refinish in aged Olympic White.

The finish is applied in thin, resonant layers to preserve clarity, attack, and the natural response of the wood. Over time, the Olympic White is carefully aged to reveal warm undertones, subtle yellowing, and authentic wear marks that evoke decades of real use. Once the lacquer has fully cured, the guitar is aged entirely by hand: softened edges, controlled wear areas, light checking, and surface textures inspired by true vintage instruments.

Every step follows traditional finishing methods, without shortcuts or artificial effects.
The goal is not to exaggerate age, but to recreate the visual balance and tactile feel of a genuinely played Telecaster Custom.
