Attempted Boat Theft - Minnehaha Avenue

Around 12:43 a.m. (time stamp on video is one hour off) on November 13, 2016, two suspects were captured on surveillance video attempting to attach the trailer and boat to the hitch of their small pickup truck, on Minnehaha Avenue in Lakeland. The suspects attempt to connect the trailer to the hitch however the trailer separated from the vehicle as soon as it pulled away. The boat and trailer were not removed however the safety chains were bent. The vehicle fled southbound on Minnehaha Ave.
