HIDDEN YOUTUBE SECRETS 2016
Most YouTubers don't have an actual YouTube Growth Strategy or a YouTube Business Strategy. My plans for growing a YouTube channel were based mostly around my YouTube Business strategy in the first place with views and subscribers being a lower priority.

SMALL YOUTUBER... BIG MONEY...
This is very different from most Big YouTubers, but it is a YouTube Secret of the "YouTube Middle Class" those YouTubers who don't always make the most views and ad revenue that still manage to make a full time income ($25K-$100K) from YouTube, with only 10K-250K subscribers.

In fact some small YouTubers make more money than YouTubers with 500K subscribers (I know small YouTubers that get $5k-$10K per sponsor video... nope I'm not one of them yet).

Aside from brand deals there is Affiliate Marketing as well... I will never tell you guys how much I make on YouTube but I will tell you that on Affiliate marketing I make about $2k+ a month in addition to Adsense revenue and Sponsor deals and Clients....

VIEW TO SUBSCRIBER RATIO
One of the things I get beat up for in the comments is my view to subscriber ratio. Some ppl even accuse me of buying subscribers. I"m a businessman first and a YouTuber dead last... I wouldn't waste money on subscriber counts that already make my view counts look bad... I'd buy ads to sell my consulting and my upcoming book to actually make money because that is what a businessman would do...

My view to subscriber ratio has to do with My Secret YouTube Strategy and My YouTube Business Strategy.

I'm making Micro-Niche content for individual viewers or types of viewers, and not putting out the same kind of content every time I upload. Most YouTubers upload the same kind of content over and over once they figure out what is most successful. This can be boring but effective.

If you have ADHD then you can relate to not wanting to do the same thing day in or day out or not wanting to niche down and stick with one thing. While this hurts you in YouTube it could be exactly what want as a creator and creative person.

I made my channel with the goal of being an online educator for the whole creative community, not just one group of creatives... so to honor that brand promise and goal, I sacrifice looking like a "Good YouTuber" and comfort myself with simple fact I'm hitting all of my YouTube Business Goals.
