Session 8: Emerging 6G Applications

India is advancing towards the future of telecommunications with a strong vision for 6G.
At Vigyan Bhawan, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia delivered the inaugural address on global 6G standardisation.
Organised by Telecommunication Engineering Centre, the session focused on the global roadmap for 6G, including AI-driven networks, immersive AR/VR applications, advanced sensing technologies, and satellite-enabled communication.
The discussions highlighted India’s commitment to contributing to next-generation telecom standards and strengthening its position as a global leader by 2030.
