More Efficient By-Segment Multiplexing of 7-Segment Displays

Standard circuits for multiplexing 7-segment displays use a lot of components and a lot of microprocessor pins. In this video, alternate methods of multiplexing 7-segment displays are shown which greatly decrease component count and the required number of pins on the microprocessor.
